We all know that disaster comes without a warning, it cannot be detected nor expected. Because of this dangerous characteristic of a disaster, many people have suffered and died due to the lack of preparation and knowledge on how to be safe in the times of disaster. That's why we the Jigsaster Team, wants to promote a safety minded mindset to everyone and also share knowledge about disasters. Bearing these two components, makes you flexible and prepared against any disasters. With your knowledge and safety first mindset, you can save your life also save lives of many people around you. You can beat disasters even if you can't anticipate nor forsee it,  just arm yourself with knowledge and be a safety minded resident.

Goals

  • Every individual who visits our site will be educated about disaster related topics such as preparedness plan, types of natural disasters, know the emergency hotline numbers and many others.

  • Create a venue to collaborate and learn about hazards with an initial focus on coastal and inland flood issues.

  • Deliver critical and useful research on disaster risk reduction through collaborative initiatives.
